We held the online multiplier event of our British Council–funded ELTRA project, Inclusive and Social Justice-Oriented Pedagogies in English Language Classrooms: Insights from Türkiye, Pakistan, and the UK, on 18 November 2025. This well-attended gathering brought together students, educators, researchers, policy actors, and wider stakeholders who share an interest in promoting more equitable and socially responsive English language teaching. Throughout the session, participants engaged with the project’s aims, research activities, emerging findings, and early implications across the three national contexts, creating a dynamic space for reflection and shared learning.
The session provided a collaborative space for sharing cross-context insights on how inclusive and social justice-oriented pedagogies can be meaningfully embedded in English language classrooms. Presenters from Türkiye, Pakistan, and the UK outlined the project’s methodological approach, highlighted key outcomes to date, and discussed their significance for teacher education, classroom practice, and broader educational change.
