Online Multiplier Event (18 November 2025)

We held our Online Multiplier Event on 18 November 2025 to share key insights from our collaborative work across Türkiye, Pakistan, and the UK on inclusive and social justice-oriented English language teaching. The session provided an overview of our aims, emerging findings, and their implications for classroom practice and teacher education. It brought together students, educators, researchers, and stakeholders for a rich and engaging discussion.

In-person and Online Intervention Workshops (January – February 2025)

This workshop series equipped pre-service English teachers from Türkiye, Pakistan, and Scotland with tools for social justice and inclusive pedagogy. Through critical textbook analysis and collaborative lesson planning, participants explored how to create more equitable and transformative English language classrooms across diverse global contexts.

Transnational Colloquium (12 & 13 December 2024)

We had a fruitful colloquium gathering researchers from Scotland, Türkiye, and Pakistan to focus on the analyses of interview data of teacher educators, and discuss how they would inform content development of upcoming workshops for language teachers.

Project Kick-off Meeting (15 August 2024)

We are thrilled to announce the official launch of our collaborative project titled “Inclusive and social justice-oriented pedagogies in English language classrooms: Insights from Türkiye, Pakistan, and the UK,” which brings together researchers from Scotland, Türkiye, and Pakistan.
